My Prayer – new single from Echo Valley

Event Details

Echo Valley

Bell Buckle Records has a new single for Pennsylvania sibling sextet, Echo Valley, a Gospel number titled My Prayer.

The group consists of five Anderson sisters along with their younger brother. Emily plays fiddle, Isabelle mandolin, Lizzy plays guitar, Olivia and David play banjo, and Emmaline is on bass. Lizzy takes the lead vocal on this one, with harmonies from Emily and Isabelle.

As Echo Valley they have a dozen years experience touring with their bluegrass Gospel sound, working more than 60 dates annually all across the US. And like all family bands, with experience has come greater proficiency as both instrumental and vocal artists, and as stage entertainers.

My Prayer was written by Donna Ulisse and Rick Stanley, a statement of faith sincerely delivered by the Anderson clan.

Speaking jointly, they have this to say about their new single.

My Prayer was the perfect fit for our album. We were drawn to the song from the moment Donna sent it to us. From its groove to its incredibly potent lyrics, this song fit us like a comfy sweater. With all the uncertainty of the past year, these lyrics penetrate deep. ‘I wanna know that I’m standing in the Son’s light’ and ‘I wanna know that you’re watching over loved ones.’ This song just hit home in all the right ways. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we have!”

Check it out.

My Prayer from Echo Valley is available now from popular download and streaming sites online. It will also be included on the band’s upcoming Bell Buckle Records project, Wildest Dreams, expected early next year.

Radio programmers will find the track at AirPlay Direct.
