Mountain Music from Carl Bentley Band

Event Details

The Carl Bentley Band

Indiana’s Carl Bentley Band is back with a new single, their take on Alabama’s smash 1982 hit song, Mountain Music, done bluegrass and Bentley style.

Like the classic cut, Carl’s version features a driving rhythm section, tight vocal harmony, and some fiery fiddle from engineer Ron Stewart.

Lead singer and guitarist Bentley said that they wanted to bring the song into their own traditional grass vibe.

“We wanted to honor the classic sound of the original recording from Alabama, but with acoustic instrumentation and our own energy to it.”

Along with Carl we have Josh Coffey on banjo, Jon Crouch on mandolin, and Caleb Garrett on bass. Josh and Caleb sing harmony with Carl.

Give it a spin.

Mountain Music is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via Get It Played.

The single is also offered for download purchase from the band online.
