Mando workshop to benefit Butch Baldassari

Event Details

Butch BaldassariWe’ve posted repeatedly here about Butch Baldassari, his ongoing health concerns as he battles a pernicious cancer, and the many opportunities that have been presented to come to his and his family’s aid.

Here’s another…

This weekend, the Musical Heritage Center of Middle Tennessee will host a mandolin workshop with Matt Flinner at Fiddle & Pick in Peagram, TN. It will be held on Saturday (10/11) from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and students at all experience levels are welcome.

The primary focus of the workshop will be Butch’s two recent mandolin books from Homespun. Flinner will play examples from the accompanying CDs, and work with participants to learn and understand what Butch is doing.

All proceeds from tuition and book/CD sales will be donated to the Butch Baldassari Medical Fund.
