Larry Stephenson to Turnberry Records

Event Details

Larry Stephenson Turnberry Records

Turnberry Records has announced the signing of Larry Stephenson, a veteran bluegrass artist recently inducted into the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame as a member of The Bluegrass Cardinals.

Larry has dedicated his entire life to bluegrass music, with a career spanning more than 50 years at this point. Now leading his own Larry Stephenson Band, he had worked as a younger man with Cliff Waldron & The New Shades of Grass and with Bill Harrell & The Virginians before joining the Cardinals.

He says that working with Turnberry feels like the right move.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Turnberry Records. This partnership feels like the perfect fit, and I’m excited for what we’ll create together.”

In agreement is Keith Barnacastle, founder of the label.

“Larry Stephenson is one of the finest voices in bluegrass music. His artistry, professionalism, and legacy make him a natural addition to our roster. We’re honored to welcome him to the Turnberry family, and look forward to supporting his next musical chapter.”

New music from the Larry Stephenson Band and Turnberry Records is expected soon.
