Grascals wave goodbye to Rounder

After six years and 4 successful albums, The Grascals have parted ways with Rounder Records. The band has been with Rounder since their inception in 2005, and reports that the split was both amicable and mutually agreeable.

Grascals manager Kirt Webster says that…

“It was simply time for a change, and both parties realized that. We have nothing but respect for the label and the work they’ve done for us.”

Seeing how Rounder has watched its two top bluegrass acts leave the stable – Rhonda Vincent and now The Grascals – one is left to wonder which side instigated the moves.
