Glenn Waller to The Churchmen

Popular Gospel troubadours The Churchmen have brought SW Virginian Glenn Waller aboard as their new guitarist and lead singer. Glenn has been playing bluegrass since his early teens, and has spent time with a number of regional groups as well national acts like Jeanette Williams and Appalachian Express.

He takes the spot recently vacated by David Guthrie, who has stepped down after 4 years to dedicate more time to his family. Waller is pleased for this new opportunity.

“Bluegrass has taken me many places in the last 30 years and allowed me to make many friends. I am grateful for the opportunity to play and sing bluegrass gospel because after all talent is God given and ultimately should be used for his praise. I look forward to this next chapter of bluegrass in my life.”

The Churchmen have been recording and performing bluegrass Gospel music for more than 20 years, and came to national prominence during their time with Pinecastle Records and Crossroads Music. Samples from several of their albums can be heard online, where you can also find their touring schedule.
