Del McCoury really wants you to check out his new album, Old Memories: The Songs Of Bill Monroe, which as the title suggests, is a tribute to Big Mon.
The entire project is available for audio streaming from his web site. That’s right folks – all 16 tracks can be heard online, from Monroe’s trademark show opener Watermelon Hanging On The Vine, to his classic closer, Y’all Come.
Del has also created this teaser video, complete with shots of the McCourys in the studio, to help spread the word.
