Daniel Salyer to Second Wind

Barry Scott is shaking things up in his road band, Second Wind, at the start of the new year.

Daniel Salyer is coming in to play guitar and sing tenor. Barry is moving to bass, filling the void left when original band member Jason Leek departed to work with Doyle Lawson.

Daniel is a 2004 graduate of ETSU where he earned a degree in Engineering. He has performed in a number of bands in the southwest Virginia, east Tennessee region and has a number of his original songs recorded by prominent bluegrass artists. A solo project, Songs We Used To Sing, was released in 2008.

Matthew Munsey remains on mandolin, as does Travis Houck on resonator guitar, and Zane Petty on banjo.

Barry and Second Wind have a very busy year already scheduled, You can find their dates on the official band web site.
