The folks at CMT.com, the online home of Nashville’s Country Music Television network (CMT), will once again host a CMT Pickin’ Party during IBMA’s Fan Fest. The event will run from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September, 29 at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Commerce Street, directly across the street from the Nashville Convention Center where the IBMA activities are held.
CMT will provide free BarBQ for anyone with a Fan Fest wristband, and a stage will be erected for Open Mic-style performances. All are welcome to attend, and bands/artists who would like some stage time should contact CMT by email to be added to the schedule.
The Pickin’ Party will not be televised, but it’s likely that CMT News will include it in their coverage of the IBMA and Fan Fest activities.
