Cindy video from Meredith Moon and Hillary Klug

Event Details

Meredith Moon

Meredith Moon, a Canadian singer/songwriter who leans towards old time music, has released a music video meant to get us all thinking thoughts of spring and summer as we endure the dreary days of the new year. It’s a collaboration with dancing fiddler Hillary Klug on an old favorite, Cindy.

Moon has been around folk music all her life, inspired by her father, the late Gordon Lightfoot. Her latest album, From Here to the Sea, is available on Compass Records.

She recorded the video this past summer at Nicky’s Diamond’s Barn, north of Nashville, and saved it for release until now.

“I was living in Nashville in July of 2025. My friend Max Harms, who does The Garage series, was doing some video work in town while staying in our place. I had long wanted to work with Hillary Klug as we’d been in each other’s orbit for some time, and the timing worked out that we could do a couple of videos together with Max.”

Check it out.
