Christmas In Dixie from Nu-Blu

Event Details

Things are moving ever more in a holiday direction here at Bluegrass Today. We’ll all be celebrating Thanksgiving with our families this week, after which the official secular celebration of Christmas cranks into overdrive.

And what a treat this year that so many special Christmas releases are available for bluegrass lovers! If this keeps up, we may need a special chart each December to track the most popular new holiday songs of the year.

The latest entry for 2010 comes from Nu-Blu, who have just released Christmas In Dixie as a digital single. Here’s a taste…

Radio programmers can get a copy of this single, and their debut album Nights, at AirPlay Direct. Christmas In Dixie is available for download purchase at CD Baby.

Nu-Blu consists of veteran grassers Carolyn and Daniel Routh on bass and guitar respectively, and young hot shots Kendall Gales on mandolin and Levi Austin on banjo. Find out more about the band at www.nu-blu.com.
