Christian Davis to Dailey & Vincent

Dailey & Vincent have announced the hiring of Christian Davis to sing bass and play a second guitar in the band, starting this weekend (1/22).

Christian has been singing since he was a young boy, working with a number of southern Gospel groups. D&V proudly point out that he was a founding member of the Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet while a student at Liberty University, and has also sung with Christian Brothers Quartet and Mercy’s Mark.

He joins Jeff Parker on mandolin and vocals, Joe Dean on banjo and vocals and Jesse Stockman on fiddle, along with Jamie Dailey on guitar/vocals and Darrin Vincent n bass/vocals. Joe had been doing a far better than capable job as bass vocalist in the quartets, and I suppose he will stick to banjo going forward.

I expect to catch up with Jamie and Darrin this weekend and will find out more about their future plans for the group.
