Bluegrass and classic country web stream from WBZI

Event Details

A trio of radio stations in southern OH owned by Joe Mullins is offering 24/7 webcasting of their broadcast signal, with a mix of traditional bluegrass and classic country. WBZI in Xenia, WKFI in Wilmington and WEDI in Eaton jointly offer the web audio stream as Classic Country Radio Online. Their primary format is classic country, but Joe is on the air from 2-5 pm during the week playing gospel and bluegrass.

Before dedicating himself full time to radio, Joe was the banjo player with two influential bluegrass acts, The Traditional Grass and Longview, and his dad, Paul “Moon” Mullins, is an icon in both bluegrass and radio circles. Paul and Joe performed together in The Traditional Grass for a decade or more and released several recordings of substantial import before the group disbanded.
