When the winner of the Miss University of Kentucky pageant was announced earlier this month, it was a big night for the bluegrass world.
The crown went to UK senior Ramsey Carpenter, who plays fiddle with County Line Bluegrass when she isn’t studying or serving as a student athletic trainer for UK sports. With her win, Carpenter is now eligible for the Miss Kentucky pageant in 2012.
Of course, she played fiddle for her talent during the pageant.
