Turnberry Records is proud to share their latest single from Greg Blake, singer songwriter, and guitarist with Special Consensus.
It’s a new song from Lewis Hunter, a friend of Greg’s, who noticed how the touring life extracts a toll on both the artists and their loved ones, bringing the music we all love to us in different parts of the world.
Blake says that Victim of the Game resonated with him right away, for all the right reasons.
“Anyone whose job requires them to be out on the road knows how taxing it can be—not only on you as an individual, but especially the extra burden placed upon relationships.
This was the first song that one of my golfing buddies, Lewis Hunter, let me hear once he started the craft. I immediately connected not only with the theme and message, but also with the melody and grassy feel of the song.
I’m really thrilled to introduce Mr. Hunter and his art to the bluegrass community.”
With Greg on guitar and lead vocal, we also hear Jacob Metz on banjo, Ethan Church on mandolin,Noah Goebel on fiddle, and Max Etling on bass. Metz and Dan Boner add harmony vocals.
Give it a go.
Victim of the Game is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via Get It Played.
