Many thanks to Shannon Ayers of S.D. Ayers Photography for sharing these images she took during a house concert on June 10 in Vienna, VA with Shelby Means and her band.

Noted as the former bass player with Della Mae and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Shelby is now out front with her own show, displaying her vocal chops as well as her bass skills.

This show in Vienna was part of Means’ ongoing Streets of Boulder tour in support of her current album by that name. It was held in parlor of the President of the DC Bluegrass Union, Carolyn Eyerly. Shelby was accompanied by her husband, Joel Timmons on guitar, her brother, Reed Stutz on banjo and mandolin, and Sami Braman on fiddle.

You can find concert details for the remainder of Means and Co.’s 2026 tour online.
