IBMAHere’s a notice that should be of interest to folks looking for an opportunity to work in bluegrass music. The International Bluegrass Music Association is looking for someone to work in their Nashville office.

Here’s the job posting from the IBMA web site.

Bluegrass music’s trade association has an immediate full-time position open for an administrative assistant to help with data management, accounting functions, member services, event coordination and other office functions.

The right person will be people oriented, must be able to focus on details and will have strong communication skills, computer experience (Microsoft applications), the ability to organize multiple tasks and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.

IBMA’s membership includes music professionals and fans in all 50 states and 30 countries working together year round. The association, headquartered in Nashville, also hosts the industry’s annual convention, the IBMA Awards and Bluegrass Fan Fest.

A competitive salary and benefit package will be offered to the right candidate.
