Rhonda Vincent gives command performance

Event Details

Rhonda Vincent & The Rage did a show this past Saturday for the Governor of her home state of Missouri. She and the band were invited to perform at the finale of Governor Jay Nixon’s four day Conference on Agriculture in St. Louis.

According to Upper Management, Rhonda’s booking agency…

Rhonda and husband Herb Sandker met with the Governor and First Lady before joining them for dinner. Following the dinner, the Governor made a very heartfelt presentation concerning the agricultural needs in Missouri; and celebrating the strides made by Missouri farmers.

“I was so impressed by the Governor’s enthusiasm, as shown by his growing the first garden at the Jefferson City Governor’s mansion” Rhonda said as she traveled to her Kirksville, Missouri home, “And the first lady is bringing back the pie baking contest at the 2010 Missouri State Fair!”

Upper Management also tells us that Rhonda and the band were very well received, inspiring the Governor and First Lady to take to the dance floor during their set.

Nothing like bluegrass music to seal the deal!
