Dierks Bentley live on Sirius XM this week

Event Details

Sirius XM will present a series of four Dierks Bentley concerts this week, each aired live from a different New York City venue. They will be broadcast on The Highway channel (Sirius 60, XM 16), starting this evening (Monday – 10/18).

Each night will showcase Bentley in a different setting, from singer/songwriter to acoustic/bluegrass trend-setter. Two of the shows will focus on  music from his current release, Up On The Ridge, his first all-acoustic album, with a decided bluegrass flavor.

Here’s the schedule with details:

  • Monday, October 18 (9:00 p.m. EDT) – from The Bowery Ballroom: Dierks and his band play his country music hits.
  • Tuesday, October 19 (8:00 p.m. EDT) – from the City Winery: Dierks performs with The Del McCoury Band, also aired on Bluegrass Junction (Sirius 65, XM 14).
  • Wednesday, October 20 (7:00 p.m. EDT) – from Joe’s Pub: Intimate singer/songwriter night with Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers and Jon Randall Stewart.
  • Thursday, October 21 (9:15 p.m. EDT) – from South Paw: Dierks performs with Punch Brothers.

Sounds like appointment radio for Sirius XM subscribers.
