DelFest on Bluegrass Today this weekend

Event Details

Just a reminder that we will have ongoing coverage of DelFest 2011 on Bluegrass Today this weekend.

Diane and Milo Farineau will be on site, sending back photos and coverage of the many performances that occur each year over Memorial Day weekend in Cumberland, MD. The festivities begin this afternoon (5/26), and will continue on two stages through Sunday night.

DelFest primarily celebrates artists that live along the boundaries of newgrass and acoustic rock, but also includes shows from mainstream and traditional bluegrass acts. This year’s roster finds Punch Brothers and The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters and Sierra Hull, Railroad Earth and Jesse McReynolds, Old Crow Medicine Show and Dailey & Vincent.

Tickets are still available if you can make the trek to Maryland but, if not, be sure to check in for Diane’s reports and Milo’s photos this next few days.
