Gimme All Your Lovin’ is the title of a new music video from Austin’s Whiskey Shivers, a track from their current CD, Batholith.
The band consists of Bobby Fitzgerald on fiddle and lead vocals, Andrew VanVoorhees on bass, Horti Martín on guitar, and Joe Deuce on washboard.
Their music is raw, a bit unfocused, but passionately delivered – another example of what young artists with a newfound interest in bluegrass music can produce outside of the mainstream.
The video offers a clever look at the world’s tallest multi-instrumentalist – or maybe the first bluegrass picking’ totem pole. It’s mildly suggestive, with a cruelly-macabre ending, so beware if you are sensitive to that sort of thing.
