Frank Wakefield update

Event Details

Some very encouraging news regarding Frank Wakefield and his recent surgery…

He remains in the ICU, but is doing well after surgery and re-inflating his right lung. It is expected that Frank can be moved from intensive care in the next few days.

An emphysema sufferer, Frank went to the hospital last week with breathing problems, and was diagnosed with a collapsed lung. After re-inflation and release, he still had difficulty breathing so the doctors did surgery this Tuesday (6/12) to remove lesions on his lung.

It has been reported that Frank is in fine spirits, and already has the ICU nurses backing talkwards – a Wakefield specialty.
