Nedski & Mojo loose in London

Event Details

Ned Luberecki and Stephen Mougin are touring this month in England, and Stephen is sending along a travelogue of their time across the pond. Day 4 offers them a day without music.

Ned Luberecki shopping in LondonDay off!

We spent the day in the British Museum, which is a MUST SEE in London! Mike Bub told Nedski: (paraphrasing) It has all the stuff they’ve plundered throughout the centuries… It sure does!! They have the Rosetta Stone, Egyptian Mummies, Roman Statues… It is unbelievable to view what they have. You could spend a week in the Museum without seeing everything!!

The late afternoon featured a delicious Italian lunch and a shopping exploration through London. We had a cream tea at Fortnum and Mason, a GIANT department store with two cafes. Very cool to see that style of shop! Later on, we wandered through Carnaby street where they were having some Christmas shopping extravaganza. Lights and decorations were EVERYWHERE! London is already in full Christmas mode!

I wasn’t really looking for much, but found a nice leather belt at the market and tried on a bunch of hats. Ned is looking for the perfect Bowler Hat, we’ll let you know when we find it!!
