Banjoist Barry Crabtree has left The James King Band, with whom he had been touring since March of this year.
James says that he has someone filling in this month, and will be trying out a number of possible replacements over the winter months. Through his wife Julie, King also wished Crabtree the best of luck through his musical adventures.
Prior to his time with King, Crabtree had a long stint as a member of Wildfire, and a memorable time with Larry Sparks & the Lonesome Ramblers.
Barry says that he is currently looking to join up with another full time band, and would let us know what develops there.
