Blake Johnson back in the hospital

Event Details

Blake JohnsonIIIrd Tyme Out bass player and vocalist Blake Johnson is back in the hospital, but this time from an abundance of caution. Fans may recall that he spent several weeks there last year, suffering from a somewhat mysterious malady that had sapped his strength and left him listless.

That episode had begun with abdominal pain, and he was admitted yesterday with the same complaint. Given his history, the doctor’s wanted to be extra careful, though they say there is no reason for grave concern at this time.

This does mean that IIIrd Tyme Out has to cancel their show tonight at the Pennyroyal Opera House in Fairview, OH. It is hoped that Blake will be released quickly and be ready for next weekend’s show at the Sertoma Youth Ranch in Florida.

Here’s hoping we’ll see him back in the bus in no time!
