It has just been announced that the nominees for the 26th Annual International Bluegras Music Awards will be revealed on Wednesday, August 12 during a special live broadcast on SiriusXM channel 61, Bluegrass Junction. The show will air from 11:00 a.m. to noon (EDT).
The Gibson Brothers, who have been selected as hosts for the Awards Show on October 1, will read the list of nominees in a program hosted by Kyle Cantrell from the SiriusXM studios in Nashville. The hour-long presentation will also include a discussion with new IBMA Director Paul Schiminger, who will disclose the 2015 inductees into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame.

A special bluegrass edition of Music City Roots will be offered in the evening of the 12th, with appearances from The Gibson Brothers, The Travelin’ McCourys, Sierra Hull, and Chris Jones & the Night Drivers. Video streaming will be available from the MCR web site.
