Donna Ulisse taking Christmas on the road

Event Details

All The Way To Bethlehem - Donna UlisseOnce again this year, Donna Ulisse is taking her Christmas album from 2012, All The Way To Bethlehem, on the road in December.

This project is unique among Christmas-themed recordings, in that instead of new versions of holiday favorites, it features new songs from Donna and several co-writers giving first-heron accounts of the original Christmas story. Christians will recognize all the stories from their Scripture study, starting with Gabriel’s announcing to Mary that she would bear a son, through to Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem and the visit of the Three Kings.

Christmas shows are scheduled throughout next month in Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, and West Virginia. Some will offer a full program of Christmas music while others will also include secular and more general Gospel music that Ulisse has recorded.

Dates include:

  • December 2: Bloomingdale Friends Church – Bloomingdale, IN – 7:00 p.m. 812-208-8400
  • December 3: The Strand Theatre – Moundsville, WV – 7:00 p.m. 304-281-5776
  • December 10: Rustburg High School Auditorium – Rustburg, VA – 6:30 p.m.
  • December 11: Rustburg United Methodist Church – Rustburg, VA – 11:00 a.m.
  • December 15: Brentwood Baptist Church – Nashville, TN
  • December 16: Christ Lutheran Church – Nashville, TN – 7:00 p.m. 615-833-0476
  • December 23: The Station Inn – Nashville, TN – 9:00 p.m.

Donna’s band, The Poor Mountain Boys, will accompany her at these concerts.
