Randy Barnes to Mountain Fever Records

Event Details

Randy Barnes

Mountain Fever Records has announced the addition of life-long bluegrass artist Randy Barnes to the label. A solo project is currently in development for him as a solo artist.

Known primarily as a bass player and harmony vocalist, the role he fills at present with Fast Track, Barnes is also a fine lead singer and guitarist, and will be bringing his personal musical vision to the forefront on this new record.

Randy has quite a resumé in bluegrass, spending time with a number of top acts, like Lou Reid & Carolina, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, The Larry Stephenson Band, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, and the Josh Williams Band.

Amanda Cook, President of Mountain Fever Records, applauds his professionalism, authenticity, and respect for a song.

“Randy Barnes is one of those musicians everyone in bluegrass trusts. His sense of timing, his tone, and his dedication to the music are unmatched.

We’re honored to welcome Randy to Mountain Fever, and incredibly excited for fans to hear his story come through on this upcoming solo record.”

We’re told to expect new music from Randy Barnes and Mountain Fever Records soon, so keep an ear open for that.
