Tucker McCandless to the Edgar Loudermilk Band

Event Details

Tucker McCandless

The Edgar Loudermilk Band has announced the addition of guitarist and vocalist Tucker McCandless to the group.

It’s a happy reunion for Tucker and Edgar who were bandmates once before 28 years ago, and they are delighted to be performing together again.

McCandless is a native of western North Carolina, and has been playing bluegrass since 1996. Moving to Pigeon Forge, TN in 2001, he found work with a number of artists in the region, including the incomparable Dolly Parton. For five years he served as band leader and musical director at the hugely popular Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Theatre. Throughout his career Tucker has always delivered powerhouse tenor and lead vocals and solid rhythm guitar.

In recent years you may have seen him with Hillbilly Fever. Here he is with them singing the Jimmy Martin classic, Freeborn Man.

Tucker joins Edgar on bass and lead vocals, Eddie Hoyle on banjo, and Zack Autry on mandolin.

Keep an eye on the tour schedule online to catch them when the Edgar Loudermilk Band is in your part of the world.
