Koch Nashville no more

Event Details

Here’s some unfortunate news for bluegrass fans, and for a number of popular bluegrass and acoustic music artists. One of the more promising and aggressive entries in the production and marketing of bluegrass recordings of late has been Koch Records Nashville, a merger of sorts between Audium Records and Koch Entertainment. Recent signings and releases have included Ronnie Bowman, Jerry Douglas and 3 Fox Drive.

BillBoard Magazine’s Radio Monitor has more info.

Koch Nashville artists seem have been blindsided by this news, as it appears were the office staff. We tried to reach our contact there for some comment, but were unsuccessful. It’s likely that we will report more on this from IBMA, where we are sure to run into some of the folks involved.
