The 13th annual Little Roy & Lizzy Music Festival is in the books. The bluegrass and country music festival, held at the Lewis Family home place in Lincolnton, Georgia, drew a large crowd for the three-day event.

The host band, Little Roy & Lizzy, performed two sets each day. 84-year-old Little Roy Lewis demonstrated why he is the ultimate entertainer. On Friday, he surprised Rhonda Vincent with some of his antics, dressed as the Energizer Bunny.

Bluegrass acts appearing included Rhonda Vincent, The Grascals, Junior Sisk, The Kody Norris Show, and many others. Each night featured a classic country act closing out the day’s music. Saturday featured The Malpass Brothers, Friday was Gene Watson, and Thursday was T. Graham Brown.

Sherry Boyd served as MC and Jackson Bethune Music LLC provided the audio. The house of the Lewis Family was open for attendees to wander through and see it much as it was in the day the children were growing up. Little Roy had his 1931 Model A on display plus the old Lewis Family bus.

Lizzy concluded, “Every year I put on this festival, it just seems to get better and better. The fans and bands are always great. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.”

Plans are already underway for the 14th annual festival in 2027.
