Wednesday at Milan Bluegrass Festival

Activities for festival attendees at the Milan Bluegrass Festival in Milan, Michigan kicked off Wednesday afternoon with a jam and petting zoo hosted by the Southeast Michigan Bluegrass Music Association. Jammers, listeners, and kids of all ages had a fine time. The Association also hosted a potluck supper for all of the early festival attendees.

Later, campground owner and festival promoter, Marl Gaynier, hosted an open mic session that featured five “put together” bands that had been jamming together for the early days of the festival. The stage show kicks off Thursday afternoon and continues Friday and Saturday.
