Bad news for Boxcars fans looking forward to catching the group this weekend. They have had to cancel their shows scheduled at The Down Home in Johnson City, TN and The Mountaineer Opry in Milton, WV due to illness.
Lead singer Keith Garrett reports that he has lost his voice due to a severe upper respiratory infection.
The band hopes to reschedule these two shows for a later date.
Keith says he hates to have to cancel shows and disappoint fans, but you can’t really sing without a voice.
Let’s all hope he’s back in top form for shows next week in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
