Till I’m Dead And Gone from Curtis Wright

Curtis WrightVoxhall Records has released a second single to radio from Curtis Wright’s self-titled solo project. The first single, Going Through Carolina spent several months on our Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart.

This new one is Till I’m Dead And Gone, a dobro-drenched number from Shawn Camp, John Scott Sherrill, and Sarah Siskind. It falls into the familiar, kiss off song category, soulfully delivered in Curtis’ distinctively gritty tones.

Here’s a taste of the track…

Curtis has spent most of his life writing and singing bluegrass music and, after many years of encouragement from artists who have loved, and in many cases, recorded his songs, he has his own album featuring his compositions as well as contributions from his many friends in the Nashville songwriting community. There’s even a fiddle and dobro-driven acoustic cover of the Lowell George classic, Dixie Chicken. Look out Chris Stapleton!

The record is available from Wright’s web site, and all the popular online sources. Radio programmers can download the new single from Airplay Direct.
