Tennessee Breeze from Lori King

Event Details

Lori King

Bluegrass vocalist and bandleader Lori King has been running the roads for more years than she’d probably like to admit. During that time she’s built a reputation as a fine entertainer, along with her touring group, Junction 63.

She has upgraded her recorded output in recent years, as exemplified by her latest single, Tennessee Breeze, a lovely, light-hearted song about true love written by Adam Pope and Bill Whyte. It tells of a couple who imagine growing old together, experiencing the seasons of life on their front porch.

King says that it connected with her right away.

“I loved the story the first time I heard the song. It has that timeless feeling of commitment and love that really resonates with me, and I was honored to record it with such an incredible group of musicians.”

Those musicians include Scott Vestal on low-tuned banjo, Zeb Snyder on guitar, Aaron Ramsey on mandolin, Jim VanCleve on fiddle, and Jeff Partin on reso-guitar and bass. Greg Blake and Gena Britt sing harmony.

This one will surely make you smile. Have a listen.

Tennessee Breeze is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via Get It Played.
