SOIMF, day 2

Event Details

Blake Williams opened the final day of the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival with some history and stories of Lester Flatt. Isaac Moore joined him for a song.

Mountain Faith then provided a wonderful Gospel set. Feller & Hill hit the stage with high energy as only they can, and The Church Sisters made their first appearance at the festival. The long lines at their CD table indicated that they were a hit!

Joe Mullins brought the Radio Ramblers back for a second day and let everyone wanting more. Michael Cleveland showed, in more ways than one, why he named his band “Flamekeeper.” Junior Sisk brought the solidly traditional sound of Ramblers Choice to the stage to end the afternoon session.

The finale of the festival was a wonderful set by Joe Mullins and Junior Sisk from their Hall of Fame project. They provided what was perhaps the most fun set of music that this photographer has witnessed.
