Event Details

The final day of the 39th Jekyll Island Bluegrass Festival was kicked off by a north Georgia band call Bluebilly Grit. The Darin & Brooke Aldridge Band Took the stage next. New fiddler, Carley Arrowood is a great fit with the band. Nothin’ Fancy hit the stage wide open to the delight of the crowd. The Little Roy and Lizzy Show was a little more than wide open. Little Roy is as high energy as ever. Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice brought hard driving, traditional bluegrass music to the stage next. Jimmy Fortune took us back in time with some of his greatest hits from The Statler Brothers, and then brought us to the present with some of the new songs he has written. Dailey and Vincent then took over the stage to finish the evening with their high-powered show. Jimmy Fortune joined them to close out with some of the Statler Brothers great hits.
