Response from Michael Cleveland

Event Details

We heard this morning from Kimberly Williams, publicist for Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, in response to our post last night, Former Flamekeepers move on.

Michael took particular exception to the use of the word “acrimonious” in describing the recent departure of long time band members Tom Adams, Marshall Wilborn and Jesse Brock – as did Tom and Marshall.

Williams asked that we post this statement on Michael’s behalf.

“For a couple of months prior to the band parting ways, there was a discussion about the direction the band was going to take. There were differences among the band members about the direction, and a decision was made that Tom, Marshall and Jesse would go on their own.

Michael is in complete support of these three gentlemen and their new band. Likewise, they are in complete support of Michael and Flamekeeper, and the record they all made together. Everyone is jointly committed to see Fired Up be successful.

All five of them are looking forward to their new ventures in business, and there are no hard feelings on any side.”

Best of luck to all involved!
