Radio Velvet, the online bluegrass radio network based in the Slovak Republic, has announced that Tom Adams’ tribute to the music of Bill Keith will be aired again three more times this week.
Adams hosts a recurring weekly program, Adams County Banjo, which mixes prerecorded music with Tom’s own recollections and expertise gleaned from a lengthy career as a professional bluegrass banjo player. Following Keith’s passing on October 24, Tom put together an hour-long show honoring Bill’s substantial contributions to the five string banjo.
Feedback from listeners was such that calls for a repeat broadcast began almost immediately, and Radio Velvet has set it to air this week on the following schedule:
- Wednesday 11/4 – 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. (EST)
- Wednesday 11/4 – 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. (EST)
- Friday 11/6 – 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. (EST)
