Quicksilver tour report from Europe

Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, waiting for a trainWe got a report on Friday from Rainer Zellner, who is promoting this month’s Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver tour in central Europe.

He says that everyone arrived in good shape and that the tour is going well so far.

Doyle Lawson and Rainer Zellner at McDonalds in Germany (5/15/15)“Everything started well with a sold out show in Heiligenhaus (holyhaus=translated).Their first meal was a dinner of Schnitzel variations and good Hefeweizen, well known local products.

Audiences went crazy for Doyle’s music. Friday was be an Austrian show at Lake Constance/Bregenz Austria in a Spiegel tent.

Over the weekend they headlined the Bühl Bluegrass Festival in Bühl, Germany. I have been practising German Umlauts ä ö and ü with them, to make sure they pronounce the word Bühl right!”
