We got a report on Friday from Rainer Zellner, who is promoting this month’s Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver tour in central Europe.
He says that everyone arrived in good shape and that the tour is going well so far.
“Everything started well with a sold out show in Heiligenhaus (holyhaus=translated).Their first meal was a dinner of Schnitzel variations and good Hefeweizen, well known local products.
Audiences went crazy for Doyle’s music. Friday was be an Austrian show at Lake Constance/Bregenz Austria in a Spiegel tent.
Over the weekend they headlined the Bühl Bluegrass Festival in Bühl, Germany. I have been practising German Umlauts ä ö and ü with them, to make sure they pronounce the word Bühl right!”
Rainer also shared these photos from the first few shows.
