The folks with Boston Bluegrass Union managed to put on another successful Joe Val Festival last weekend, despite the third major snowstorm of 2015 hitting New England right in the middle of it. A few artists weren’t able to get in for their scheduled spots, and a few that did weren’t able to get out.
But Dave Hollender, a banjo and bass player in Boston who is on the faculty at the Berklee College of Music, got in and out, along with a batch of fine photos from the stage show and backstage as well. Dave is as fine a photographer as he is a musician.
We selected a few to share with you here, and the rest can be viewed on Dave’s Facebook page.
Dave is still uploading more images, so stop back by his Facebook page later this week for more Joe Val ’15 images.
