Out in the Marshy Waters from Ettore Buzinni

Event Details

Ettore Buzzini

Banjo wild man Ettore Buzzini has a new single with Patuxent Music, a southern gothic murder ballad written and sung by the young Swiss-American artist who is turning heads throughout the bluegrass world.

It delivers all the elements of the genre, but instead of a lengthy tale, it’s presented in a fast-paced, short-form style.

Buzinni says that Out in the Marshy Waters is the sort of song to which he is invariably called to listen.

“I’ve always been drawn to storytelling in songs – artists like Charlie Daniels and Del McCoury, strong stories with imagery and a good plot line. I’ve always loved the mood created by those great storytellers, like in the Wooly Swamp, and ballads like White House Blues.”

He is featured on both guitar and banjo, assisted by Christopher Henry on mandolin, Patrick McAvinue on fiddle, and Mark Schatz on bass.

Have a listen.

You can find Out in the Marshy Waters at popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
