Introducing Rebecca Frazier and Hit & Run

Those of us who have been following bluegrass closely this past decade or so don’t need an introduction to Rebecca Frazier, or her band Hit & Run. A multi-talented performer, Frazier (née Hoggan) had been out of the limelight this past few years, dedicating her time to the raising of her young family with her husband, John, an experienced picker himself.

Now that the kids are starting to grow up, Rebecca has dusted off her singing, flatpicking, and songwriting chops, and put the band back together. She released a new album, When We Fall, in May of this year, and has been out touring in support since then.

Throughout the summer, Frazier has been collecting video footage from live shows, and has had them put together into a video EPK with interview footage included.

It’s a fine introduction to the group for folks not familiar with Rebecca or the band, which got its start in Colorado, now based with the Fraziers in Nashville. Husband John is on mandolin, Kyle Tuttle on banjo, Nick DiSebastian on bass, and Shadd Cobb on fiddle.
