Hey, It’s A Beautiful Day – Tasha Turner

One of the great things about World of Bluegrass each year is the opportunity to meet folks you might never encounter elsewhere. And that is exactly how I made the acquaintance of Tasha Turner, a young bluegrass Gospel singer/songwriter from Arkansas.

She stopped by the Bluegrass Today booth at WOB to introduce herself, and give us a copy of her CD, Hey, It’s A Beautiful Day, a self-produced project with 11 or her original songs. Supporting her in the studio were Mountain Heart’s Aaron Ramsey on banjo and Josh Shilling on piano. Tim Crouch provided fiddle, mandolin and guitar.

Here’s a taste of her music in video form…

You can find out more about Tasha on her web site.
