Grateful Ball Tour in October

Event Details

ballGood news for bluegrass loving Dead Heads!

The Jeff Austin Band and The Travelin’ McCourys have decided to recreate their successful Grateful Ball concert as a week-long tour this October. The original show was held at Urban Chestnut Brewing in St. Louis last month, and the bands and the fans had so much fun, they’ve decided to take the show on the road.

Each group will do a set on their own, followed by a joint set playing modern bluegrass arrangements of Grateful Dead material. To maintain the vibe, the two groups will follow the set list they created for the St. Louis show.

All the October shows will be in east coast states, running from October 20-26.

  • 10/20 – State Theatre – State College, PA
  • 10/21 – Rex Theater – Pittsburgh, PA
  • 10/22 – Ardmore Music Hall – Ardmore, PA
  • 10/23 – Flying Monkey Performance Center – Plymouth, NH
  • 10/24 – Rams Head on Stage – Annapolis, MD
  • 10/25 – Appalachian Brewing Company – Harrisburg, PA
  • 10/26 – The Hamilton Live – Washington, DC

Contact the various venues or check the band web sites for tickets, which are expected to sell out quickly.
