The Kody Norris Show has a Friday treat for everyone, a music video for their latest single, Good Ol’ USA, ahead of the June release of their Spirit of America album from Rebel Records.
As should be obvious by now, Kody and the gang have jumped on to America’s 250th birthday celebration this year, with a full project of patriotic songs, most of them written within the band.
Good Ol’ USA is one Kody wrote with Larry Chunn, and he explains how they managed to shoot the video at one the country’s most notable monuments.
“Good Ol’ USA embodies all the feelings of celebrating America250.
When we began seeking out locations to film a music video we wanted something iconic that would make a statement. Mount Rushmore was at the top of our list, but presented several monumental challenges (no pun intended)!
With the help of some amazing park rangers, our top-notch team, and after putting several thousand miles of asphalt behind us, our dream video set became a reality!
We hope the viewers enjoy watching this one as much as we did filming. This is definitely one we will never forget!”
Have a look and see Kody, Mary Rachel, Charlie, and Jimmy in South Dakota celebrating the land of their birth.
Good Ol’ USA is available now from popular download and streaming services online, and to radio programmers via AirPlay Direct.
Pre-orders and pre-saves for Spirit of America are likewise enabled.
