Friday at Jekyll Island 2015

Event Details

Friday at the 39th Jekyll Island Bluegrass Festival kicked off with the Tennessee Gentlemen. Donnie Catrone is one of the finest tenor singers in bluegrass music today! The Spinney Brothers graced the stage for the second day. In their evening set the crowd was delighted when the boys “Got their Dog Back.”

Crowd favorite, The Gary Waldrep Band, was excellent, as always. The Gibson Brothers brought their great brother duets to the stage. They brought the Spinney Brothers on for a couple songs during their final set of the day. This writer refers to them as the “Gibspin Quadruplets.” The day was capped off by the legendary Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver.
