Florida Bluegrass Classic debuts in Brooksville

Preliminary activities kicked of Tuesday with a soup beans and cornbread supper, jamming, square dancing, and a performance by singer/story teller Michael Reno Harrell. Wednesday featured a pot supper – and we all know that bluegrassers are good cooks!! DJ Greg Bird hosted an open mic show for the remainder of the evening.

Thursday will have songwriter Brink Brinkman doing a workshop and a classic country sing-a-long in the afternoon. There will be performances in the evening by Greg Bird, Gordon Pike, and Blue Highway.

Friday features Wry Whiskey, Nothin’ Fancy, and The Gary Waldrep Band. Saturday brings The Gary Waldrep Band, Nothin’ Fancy, Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, and Sideline to the Classic stage.
