The Berklee College of Music in Boston hosted Del McCoury on September 12, both for a special performance by the Del McCoury Band, and to present him with the first of the school’s American Roots Master Award.
Berklee’s Matt Glaser, who directs their American Roots Music Program, presented the award.
Here’s a couple of photos from the concert, which was billed as Inspired by Muddy and Monroe, and also featured sets from blues singer Catherine Russell, and The Wayfaring Starngers.
