Day 1 at SOIMF, Fall ’14

Event Details

Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers kicked off the November edition of the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival. New member, fiddler Jason Barie, made his debut. Ralph Stanley II then brought the signature “Stanley” sound to the stage.

Russell Moore wowed the crowd with the great music of IIIrd Tyme Out. Jason “Sweet Tater” Tomlin filled in for the ailing Blake Johnson. Russell told the crowd that Blake will be back on the road soon.

Bill Yates and the Country Gentlemen Tribute Band took us back in time to the wonderful sounds of yesteryear. Marty Raybon brought his high energy show to the Roberts Center stage.

The afternoon show was closed with a highly emotional set from James King. James sang a few tunes with Joe Mullins, Alex Leach, and Randy Barnes. They were then joined on stage by Russell Moore, Marty Raybon, and Ralph Stanley II for a rousing finale.
